The staff of the TV anime of Shinobu Ohtaka's Orient manga revealed the main visual.
The show will premiere in January 2022 on TV Tokyo and AT-X. Crunchyroll will stream the anime.
Crunchyroll will debut the anime on November 20 at this year's Anime NYC event.
The staff will host a screening event for the anime on December 12.
The main visual depicts Musashi, Kojiro Kanemaki, and Tsugumi Hattori holding a demon iron sword. In addition, smiling Naotora Takeda, a giant demon, Shiro Inukai, and Nanao Inusaka, who are mysterious beings, also appeared.
"Orient" is a battle fantasy in which two boys, Musashi and Kojiro, who longed for samurai, vowed to form the "strongest samurai corps" and challenged to exterminate demons, set in the Warring States period when "demons" ruled humans. TV animation will be broadcast on TV Tokyo, AT-X and others from January 2022.
