Pokémon Master Journeys Anime Gets Four Special Episodes for Pokémon Legends: Arceus Game

Amazon Prime Video has announced that it will exclusively stream four special episodes of the Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series anime titled Pocket Monster: Kami to Yobareshi Arceus (Arceus Who is Called a God). The episodes will celebrate the release of the Nintendo Switch game Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The first two episodes will stream on Amazon Prime Video on January 21, and the last two episodes will stream on January 28.



"Pokemon God and Arceus" is a special episode that enlivens the release of "Pokemon LEGENDS Arceus", the latest game in the "Pokemon" series to be released on January 28th. Set in the Sinnoh region, in addition to Satoshi and Go, nostalgic friends such as Hikari, Ginga troupe planning a mysterious plan, Pokemon Arceus called God, legendary Pokemon Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, In addition, items related to "Pokemon LEGENDS Arceus" such as kimono and unfamiliar monster balls made of wood will also appear. 

Netflix premiered Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series on September 10. The second part of the anime will debut on Netflix on January 21.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan in November 2019, two days after the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games shipped worldwide. The first 12 episodes of the anime debuted in the United States on Netflix in June 2020, and the service added new episodes quarterly. The anime also premiered on Pokémon Asia Official (Hindi) YouTube Channel on 29 October 2021 and Canadian television channel Teletoon in May 2020.


Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series is the twenty-fourth and current season of the Pokémon animated series, and the second season of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, known in Japan as Pocket Monsters. The season premiered in Japan on December 11, 2020, on TV Tokyo; in Canada, the season premiered on Teletoon in June 2021, and Télétoon in July 2021. In the United States, it was released as a streaming television season with its first 12 episodes on September 10, 2021, on Netflix, with new episodes to be released quarterly. The second part was scheduled for January 21, 2022. This season continues the research fellowship adventures of Ash Ketchum, Goh and Chloe Cerise, as they travel across all eight regions, including the new Galar region from Pokémon Sword and Shield and the Galar region's Crown Tundra from Pokémon Sword and Shield: The Crown Tundra, based at Cerise Laboratory in Vermillion City in the Kanto region.
