The official YouTube channel for the Pokémon franchise began streaming a trailer for the Pokémon Journeys: The Series anime. The video previews a two-part special episode that will premiere on December 3 with the second part airing on December 10. The episode will feature Dawn and Cynthia from the Pokémon - Diamond and Pearl series, who previously appeared in recent episodes.

Currently, the TV anime "Pokemon" is being broadcast on TV Tokyo from 18:55 every Friday in Japan. In the "Winter Special Episode," the story unfolds as Ash, Goh, and Koharu, who are contacted by Dawn that Piplup has been kidnapped by someone, head for the Sinnoh region. The three who joined Dawn heard that Piplup had been kidnapped by another person who had the same face and clothes as Dawn ... The released PV captured Sinnoh's regional champion Cynthia, a team of rockets that looked different than usual, and Dialga and Palkia colliding with each other.

Also, from November 5th, a project to recruit dance videos for the ending theme "Batsugun Type" has started. The selected videos will be introduced in the ending of the TV anime. Check the official website for details.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan in November 2019, two days after the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games shipped worldwide. The first 12 episodes of the anime debuted in the United States on Netflix in June 2020, and the service added new episodes quarterly. The anime also premiered on Pokémon Asia Official (Hindi) YouTube Channel in India on October 29, 2021 and the Canadian television channel Teletoon in May 2020.

Netflix confirmed in February that the batch of episodes that it began streaming in March would be the Pokémon Journey series' final episodes. Netflix then premiered Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series, billed as the 24th season of the Pokémon anime, on September 10.
